A flip/flop rear hub also means the bike can be ridden at a single speed (with freewheel coasting), or as a fixed gear. A truly urban-inspired bike, Messenger has taken some cues from BMX specs in order to improve its durability: an A-head stem on a 1-1/8" fork steerer improves front-end strength and stiffness for more confident handling while solid resin BMX-style pedals provide durability and dual-pivot brakes give smooth, reliable stopping power. A tough, stylish, around-town option with a low-maintenance drivetrain makes Messenger a perfect option for someone who doesn't want to fuss around with maintenance and simply get on and go.
